Motorcycle Tour
- We will welcome you to the cozy airport in Bagdogra where you’d be meeting your fellow travellers and the team post which we start our journey towards the land of Dragons – Bhutan.
- On our way, we take a quick halt at the Teesta Bridge or the Coronation Bridge, depending our the route we pursue.
- As we get closer towards the Indo- Bhutan border, we find ourselves riding amidst the Lataguri forest which leaves us feeling like a part of the beautiful nature’s canvas.
- Upon arrival, we check into the hotel and relax for the day. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
- The day starts with a delightful breakfast as we prepare for our journey to the capital – Thimphu.
- Riding through the enchanting landscape and embracing its magical ambiance, our trip becomes a cherished experience, making travel effortless.
- As we make our way towards Thimphu, we witness the scenery transforming into lush greenery, accompanied by a refreshing drop in temperature.
- Upon reaching our destination, we have the opportunity to explore the vibrant local market and charming cafes.
- The day concludes with a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
- Today, after breakfast, we will start our journey towards Punakha, where the captivating beauty of the journey will leave a lasting impression on your mind and soul.
- Our route will take us through the renowned Dochula Pass (3150m), adorned with 108 memorial stupas honoring the martyred soldiers, a site deeply revered by the locals.
- Our next stop will be the Punakha Dzong, renowned for its distinctive Bhutanese architecture, named as “Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang” or “Palace of Great Happiness.” Later, we will visit the suspension bridge before concluding the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
- After an early and fulfilling breakfast you will start for your first sightseeing of the day i.e. Chitkul , famous as ‘India’s last village and blessed with beautiful landscapes of greenery mixed with deserty mountains making this unique village a sight to remember.
- Cementing memories of Chitkul in your heart, you will move towards your destination of the day Tabo. crossing the Khab bridge, scenic Nako and witnessing the drastic landscape change , you will reach the muddy town of Tabo.
- This village with a 500 yr old monastery will take your breath away with it’s natural beauty and manmade unique paintings preserved for 100s of years in their shrines.
- This village also marks your entrance to Spiti valley.
- We start our day post breakfast and ride through beautiful countryside and golden paddy fields to reach the starting point of the famous hike to the Taktsang Lakhang, also known as the Tigers Nest Monastery.
- It seems like it is perched on the vertical rock by magical glue.
- Post our 5 hours long trek, if time permits, we will visit the stunning Kichu Lhakhang or the Paro National Museum or maybe just endeavor a rejuvenating hot stone bath.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
- Enjoy a delicious breakfast and check out from your hotel in Paro.
- Embark on a delightful exploration of the city’s highlights: Drukgyel Dzong, Ta Dzong (Ring Pong Dzong), Paro Airport View Point, and the vibrant local market.
- After a day of sightseeing, head back to Phuentsholing for a comfortable overnight stay.
- After an early breakfast, we will begin our return journey towards Siliguri, marking the end of our time in Bhutan.
- As we conclude this remarkable trip, we will head to the airport, carrying with us cherished memories and the bonds of friendship that will endure a lifetime.
- As you journey home, may the enduring image of the majestic Himalayas and the serene beauty of this enchanting kingdom linger in your thoughts, inspiring you to revisit this captivating place time and again.
